inter Oratores Graecos, quibus idem Imperator Magistris usus est, apud Eund. c. 2. Mentio eius apud Philostratum quoque in Vitis Sophistarum, nec enim alius hic Marcus est. Nam et illis temporibus vixit, quibus potuit esse Marci Magister in Rhetoricis, et illâ aetate fuit magno in pretio: Ἠγάςθη ἀυτον, verba sunt Philostrati, καὶ Ἀδριανὸς ὀ Αὐτοκράτωρ, πρεσβεύοντα ὑπὲρ Βυζαντίων, ἐπιτηδειότατος τῶ πάλαι βασιλέων γενόμενος ἀρετὰς ἀυξῆσαι. Nec obstat, quod Annius Marcus apud Capitolinum dicitur, Philostrato tantum Marcus: namque et Caninium Celerem et Ti Atticum Herodem itide???
